An existing Atlanta Braves app gives fans access to team news, scores, schedules, stats, standings, and game-day information, but the experience had opportunities to become more intuitive, timely, and useful for fans navigating both the app and the broader game-day experience. I conducted a UX audit and redesign concept to identify usability gaps, improve access to key information, and make the app feel more helpful before, during, and after game day.
First, I evaluated the existing screens and identified their usability issues which include there being no filter or search capability or real-time updates.

I evaluated the existing app experience through a heuristic analysis, reviewing screens for usability issues, navigation gaps, missing filtering capabilities, limited search support, and lack of real-time information. I also used secondary research and contextual observations from working near the stadium to better understand how fans behave on game days, including how they plan around parking, weather, entertainment, and viewing options.
I created low-fidelity wireframes and a rapid prototype redesign for the app’s News, Calendar, Game, Standings, and Stats screens. The redesign focused on reducing friction, improving content organization, and making the app more useful for fans who need fast, contextual information.

This project shows my ability to audit an existing digital product, identify usability issues, connect user behavior to business and experience opportunities, and translate findings into practical redesign recommendations. It reflects the type of work I offer through product audits, UX reviews, heuristic evaluations, and mockup-based refinement support.
